Aerotek in Bradenton, FL is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Operator to produce precision aerospace components in a clean, ISO-driven shop. You will set up and operate CNC lathes, read blueprints and GD&T, install tooling, and perform first-piece and in-process inspections.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, first shift 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with weekly pay and compensation based on experience. This contract-to-hire role offers stability and growth in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and other measuring instruments.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision aerospace components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Install tooling, fixtures, and adjust machine offsets.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Make adjustments as needed to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Complete production documentation and inspection records.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work area.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery of finished parts.
