Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for our Machine Shop. You will set up and operate CNC lathes to produce aerospace components, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while maintaining records and equipment.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC Lathe experience, familiarity with Okuma and Harding machines, and strong attention to detail. Overtime may be required in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience machining with CNC Lathe, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience on 4-5 axis CNC Lathe is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe to produce machined parts according to drawings.
• Validate material and inspect finished parts using gauges and GD&T.
• Troubleshoot tool wear and machine issues; document actions and results.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and keep accurate records.
