Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for our machine shop. The role sets up and operates CNC lathe equipment, ensuring quality and safety, and maintains records and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of CNC Lathe experience (4-5 axis preferred), knowledge of GD&T, inspection tools, and the ability to read blueprints. Strong teamwork and safety compliance required.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years experience machining with CNC Lathe, aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Experience on 4-5 axis CNC Lathe (Okuma & Harding Lathe experience preferred).
• Knowledge of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations; Knowledge of Geometric Dimensional Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Understanding of cutting tool geometry; tooling and coordination.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ITAR eligibility: US Persons only.

Aufgaben

• Understand work orders, blueprints, manufacturing orders, and machining parameters.
• Validate material used.
• Maintain specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions; replace worn tools.
• Listen to machining operation to detect issues and compensate for problems.
• Measure dimensions of finished parts with precision instruments to ensure conformance to GD&T.
• Document actions and communicate next steps across shifts.
• Any other task assigned by supervisor or management.
