Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist II or III (Lathe) for the second shift to set up, program and operate CNC lathes, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of aerospace machining experience, familiarity with 4-5 axis lathes (Swiss/Okuma/Harding preferred), reading blueprints and GD&T, and strong tooling and measurement skills. Overtime and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC lathe experience, aerospace preferred.
• Experience with 4-5 axis lathes (Swiss/Okuma/Harding preferred).
• Strong understanding of GD&T and inspection basics.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines.
• Validate dimensions with micrometers, calipers, height gages.
• Troubleshoot tooling and report issues; maintain records.
• Document actions and communicate needs between shifts.
