Job summary

Neotech in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a full-time technician for second shift to operate, maintain, and start up equipment per documented procedures.

You will perform laser welds, machine shop tasks, environmental stress screening, and daily/weekly preventive maintenance, while ensuring ESD and FOD rules are followed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1–2 years related experience, with proficiency in Excel and Windows, and the ability to work under supervision in a clean room.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment per procedures.
• Experience with Excel and Windows-based systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned equipment and follow start-up/shutdown routines.
• Perform laser weld, machine shop, and enclosure removal tasks as needed.
• Conduct environmental stress screening per MIL-STD-883 and document results.
• Execute daily/weekly preventive maintenance and log results.
• Adhere to ESD, FOD and product handling requirements.
• Input data into manufacturing systems and follow work instructions.
