Job summary

Aero-Tech Engineering is seeking an issued CNC operator to run and set up 3- and 4-axis machines in a busy shop in Wichita, KS. You will read setup documentation, inspect finished parts, and maintain strict quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Forklift experience and safety compliance are also valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other technical documents.
• 1+ years experience; technical training program is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and safety conscious.
• Team oriented with ability to work in a shop environment.
• Operates forklift when required and supports housekeeping in the shop.

Responsibilities

• Operating, inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining 3 & 4-axis CNC machines
• Set-up CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, boring, and milling
• Ability to understand setup documents.
• Reading and understanding specifications of blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other technical documents.
• Inspecting finished products, measuring, and comparing them to the quality requirements and tolerances set forth for the job
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or instructed
