Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a skilled machinist to set up, fabricate and verify aircraft parts using CNC and manual milling, lathes, and boring mills. You will select tools, adjust feeds and speeds, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work any shift.
• Overtime may be required (>8 hours/day or >40 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Set up, fabricate, and verify parts by operating conventional and CNC machines and various milling, turning, boring, and profiling equipment.
• Maintain make ready crib.
• Plan sequences of operations and determine tooling, speeds, feeds, and depths of drilling.
• Set up and operate four or more axis milling machines and engine lathes to produce parts to close tolerances.
