Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, seeks a Precision Maintenance Technician to diagnose, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC machines at the Wichita, KS site. The role aligns with applicable manufacturers, industry standards, and shop practices to support reactive and planned maintenance activities.

You will collaborate with engineering, vendors, and management to plan rebuilds, coordinate FATs, install new or rebuilt equipment, and ensure timely project

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of precision machine maintenance experience.
• Willing to work any shift, including 2nd shift.

Responsabilités

• Perform root cause analysis in support of reliability processes and collaborate with vendors, engineering, team leader, customer, other crafts, and management to solve equipment problems and develop corrective action.
• Enter and retrieve data from the CMMS system and order parts required to accomplish the tasks.
• Plan, perform design reviews, buyoffs, F.A.T. and sequence the installation of new and rebuilt equipment.
• Troubleshoot and correct, design, and engineering related issues during initial checkout of new and rebuilt assets and systems.
• Plan the sequence of work for Maintenance Technicians in all mechanical phases of rebuild, repair and maintenance.
• Use precision alignment and measuring equipment (e.g., laser trackers, micrometers, etc.).
• Perform lubrication during emergent and planned repairs.
• Coordinate with other organizations to provide reliability failure analysis and problem resolution.
• Train and mentor other employees and apprentices.
• Assist in researching, developing, and delivering skill training.
• Sequence and develop detailed job plans and manage preventive maintenance and service plans.
