Job summary

Chromalloy seeks an Engineering Process Technician to provide hands‑on technical support for aerospace and industrial gas turbine operations. You will develop CNC EDM programs, support equipment and processes, perform evaluations, and help implement practical improvements to equipment performance.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, data analysis, and collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams to enhance aviation safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience required.
• 3–5 years of engineering technician experience in aerospace or gas turbine labs, manufacturing, or repair operations.
• Experience with CNC fast‑hole drilling and sinker EDM processes.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documentation and checklists.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC EDM programs for fast‑hole drilling and sinker EDM machines.
• Create setup, calibration, operation, and maintenance documentation for equipment.
• Develop operating instructions and checklists for processes and materials.
• Perform measurements and technical evaluations, analyze data, and report results.
• Ensure testing complies with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to less‑experienced team members.
• Support safety, quality, and ISO 9000 compliant practices.
