Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an EDM Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining equipment used to manufacture precision aerospace components. You will perform machining, verify part quality, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement while upholding safety and productivity standards.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with EDM, CNC setup, or programming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Machining, EDM setup, CNC operation, or program editing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret operation sheets, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC EDM equipment and related machining systems.
• Perform EDM machining operations according to engineering specs and work instructions.
• Read operation sheets, routers, blueprints, and in-process documentation.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to verify quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot setup, machining, and program-related issues.
• Support TPM activities and routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintain production standards and accurate documentation.
• Follow safety, quality, and CTQ requirements.
