Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering, LLC in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a CMM Programmer/Operator to program and run CMM inspections on tight‑tolerance aerospace hardware using Zeiss CMMs.

The role requires 3+ years of CMM programming and operation, experience in aerospace or automotive industries, and proficiency with precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

3+ years of CMM programming and operation on tight-tolerance parts (4 decimals).
Experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing.
Familiarity with precision measuring equipment and inspection methods.
AS9100/ISO 9001 familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

Write and run CMM programs on Zeiss equipment for various parts.
Perform probe calibration and validation and maintain styli/probes.
Conduct dimensional and visual inspections at the surface plate.
Support plate inspection, part marking, FAI/data packages, and shipments.
Identify defects and write nonconformance reports.
Interpret drawings and specs to select inspection methods.
