Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering is seeking a CMM Programmer/Operator for North America operations in Indianapolis, IN. You will program and run CMM inspection on tight-tolerance aerospace hardware, using Zeiss CMMs, and perform manual surface plate inspections to ensure parts meet drawings and specifications.

The role offers 2nd shift options, a pay range of $37–$42 per hour, and a benefits package including bonuses, PTO, holidays, and employer-paid insurance options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CMM programming/operating with tight tolerance parts.
• Experience in aerospace or automotive industries.
• Familiarity with AS9100D/ISO9001 standards.
• Strong documentation and measurement reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and run CMM programs on Zeiss equipment for purchased, in-process, and finished parts.
• Perform probe calibration and validation, and maintain styli and probe accessories.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspection at the surface plate.
• Support plate inspection, part marking, FAI/data packages, and shipments.
• Identify defects and write nonconformance reports.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to choose the right inspection method.
