Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering seeks a CMM Programmer/Operator to program and run CMM inspections on tight‑tolerance aerospace hardware in Indianapolis, IN. You will write programs for Zeiss CMMs, inspect at the surface plate, and ensure parts meet drawings and specs before moving forward.

The role requires 3+ years of CMM programming/operation, aerospace or automotive background, and strong attention to detail. Shift flexibility and teamwork are expected in this full‑time position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CMM programming and operation on tight-tolerance parts.
• Aerospace or automotive industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Write and run CMM programs on Zeiss equipment for purchased, in-process, and finished parts.
• Perform probe calibration and validation, maintain styli and probe accessories.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspection at the surface plate.
• Support plate inspection, part marking, FAI/data packages, and shipments.
• Identify defects and write nonconformance reports; interpret drawings and specs.
