Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is seeking a CMM Inspector 1 to join our Arlington, WA team. The role involves inspecting machined and sheet metal components, purchased parts, and raw materials against engineering drawings and specifications under limited supervision.

Responsibilities include reading aerospace drawings, using various inspection tools, documenting results, and performing nondestructive testing as required. A two-year aerospace inspection background and GD&T knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years hands-on inspection experience in aerospace is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of understanding Engineering Drawings.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operates CMM to dimensionally inspect product with supervision.
• Reads and interprets aerospace drawings, tolerances and technical requirements.
• Compares product to drawings, purchase orders and manufacturing orders using inspection tools.
• Documents acceptance/rejection and processes related documentation in the MRP system.
• Performs Rockwell and Eddy Current testing for product acceptance.
• Reviews outside processing certifications and verifies finish per specs.
• Capable of performing and completing FAI per AS9102 requirements.
• Follows safety guidelines and uses safety equipment.
