Phoenix Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to be a hands-on problem solver in the Quality Department. You will inspect parts using CMMs, verify conformance to GD&T and blueprints, and ensure products meet customer requirements for flight-critical aerospace components.

The role requires accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems. Prior experience with Mitutoyo PC-DMIS or similar tools is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years aerospace or complex manufacturing QC experience.
• Proficient with GD&T, reading blueprints, and interpretation of drawings.
• Experience with CMM inspection and Mitutoyo PC-DMIS is preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Global Shop).

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspection of dimensional, layout, assemblies, and fixtures or gauges using a CMM or other measuring devices to ensure conformance to print specifications.
• Inspect first article, in-process, and finished products, documenting corrections and ensuring defective product is not delivered.
• Process and store inspection data electronically and in print, following internal standards and travelers.
• Ensure standard procedures are followed and documentation is accurate.
• Provide training in CMM use and inspection instruments as needed.
• Inspect parts independently for conformance to drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Assist in receiving inspection and certification review as required.
• Support corrective actions and communicate findings to leadership.
