Job summary

IMG, an Ichor Company, in Scotts Valley, CA, is hiring a QC Inspector to perform dimensional, visual, and process inspections on precision-machined aerospace components. You will verify conformance to drawings, specs, AS9100 and ITAR requirements, and document results.

The role includes using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, optical comparators, and vision systems, with a focus on first article inspection and collaboration in a small team environment.

Qualifications

• Print reading and GD&T proficiency required.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Ability to work in a small team environment.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (GSS a plus).
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Use inspection tools to perform spindle first article inspections.
• Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections per plans.
• Record measurements and populate inspection reports.
• Prepare inspection reports maintaining AS9100 compliance.
• Inspect parts at various production stages.
• Provide CMM programming support and troubleshooting.
• Clarify inspection requirements to machinists.
• Develop inspection reports and measurements tracking.
• Ensure ITAR, AS9100 compliance and internal standards.
