Footbridge Federal is seeking a highly skilled circuit design engineer to lead full life-cycle development of aerospace avionics circuits in a collaborative, small-team setting. The role requires hands-on lab work for debugging, characterization, and qualification of new designs, with an emphasis on analog, digital, and power electronics for 28 VDC avionics.

Qualifications include active Top Secret clearance, expertise in op- toelectronic circuits, and proficiency with Mentor Graphics tools.

Qualificações

• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Extensive experience in analog, digital, and power circuit design.
• Proficiency with Mentor Graphics (Xpedition, Dx Designer).
• Experience with optoelectronic circuits, including low-noise transimpedance amplifiers and high-power laser diode pulse drives (30W+).
• Knowledge of power distribution and conversion for 28 VDC aerospace avionics.
• Familiarity with piezoelectric actuator drive circuits and SPICE modeling.
• Strong hands-on skills with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and signal generators.

Responsabilidades

• Execute full-lifecycle circuit development, from initial schematic entry and board layout to component selection and final documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate high-level system requirements into detailed circuit designs.
• Perform hands-on debugging, characterization, and qualification of new circuit designs in a laboratory environment.
• Support the definition and delivery of program functionalities and technical milestones.
• Full-time schedule; collaborate with a small engineering group.
