Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop and qualify high-reliability electronics for space applications. You will own hardware from concept through qualification, collaborating across engineering disciplines.

The role requires strong circuit design skills, proficiency with Zuken/Altium/Mentor Graphics, and a current Top Secret clearance. You will analyze, test, and validate hardware for demanding space environments while guiding junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience or coursework in Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) design/analysis.
• Experience with schematic capture tools such as Zuken, Altium, or Mentor Graphics.
• Active Top Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and qualify high-reliability electronics for space applications.
• Own hardware from concept through qualification, collaborating across engineering disciplines.
• Develop analog/digital circuits, perform worst-case, parts-stress and FMEA analyses.
• Create schematics, support PCB layout, ensure signal integrity and space qualification.
• Lead trade studies, manage BOMs, prototype builds, and drive design decisions.
• Present status and risks to leadership and customers; mentor engineers.
