Job summary

Epic Aircraft, LLC in Bend, Oregon seeks a Certification Engineer to support certification activities for Part 23 Utility Category aircraft, coordinating with the FAA and other aviation authorities. You will develop certification plans, prepare compliance documentation, review design changes, and help navigate 14 CFR Parts 21 and 23.

Qualifications

Experience in aerospace engineering, certification, regulatory compliance or related disciplines.
Strong technical writing skills and ability to document engineering findings clearly.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Support certification activities for Part 23 Utility Category aircraft.
Develop certification strategies and compliance documentation.
Coordinate regulatory submittals with FAA and other authorities.
Review engineering reports, drawings, test plans, and substantiation data for compliance.
