Job summary

PAC Seating Systems in Florida is seeking a Certification Engineer to develop and execute FAA/TSO/ETSO compliant certification programs for seats and related components. You will prepare test plans, compile documentation, and interact with OEMs, FAA, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

This onsite role requires a mechanical or aerospace background with FAA Designee training and 6+ years of relevant experience, plus willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Must have completed FAA Designee Initial Training course.
• Knowledge of FAA Part 21/25 and Boeing requirements is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop certification test plans and reports ensuring regulatory and OEM compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams on scope, schedule, and design details for certification.
• Oversee test article builds and conformity activities.
• Identify and resolve certification issues; communicate with stakeholders.
