Jobot is seeking an experienced Grinder for aerospace fasteners, with strong blueprint reading, setup, and precision inspection skills. The role requires operating centerless grinding equipment and using micrometers, calipers, and other gauges to ensure parts meet strict specifications.

Shift options include 1st and 2nd, with overtime and weekend availability. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSAs/FSAs, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience operating centerless grinding equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate centerless grinding machines in manual and automatic production environments.
• Select and install grinding wheels, support blades, and machine tooling as required.
• Perform wheel dressing, machine adjustments, and process optimization to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor production quality and make necessary machine adjustments.
