Job summary

Monogram Aerospace Fasteners is seeking a skilled Centerless Grinder to set up and operate grinding machines, grinding external or internal surfaces to blueprint specifications. You will determine sequences, wheel dressing, and passes to optimize efficiency and quality while supporting team goals.

The role requires reading blueprints and measuring parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to tight tolerances. Candidates should have 1–3 years of related experience in a machine shop environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret blueprints and documents accurately.
• Familiar with fractions, decimals, trigonometry and geometry for machining operations.
• Experience with setting up and operating grinding machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate centerless grinding machines per task requirements.
• Select and dress grinding wheels; adjust speeds and feed rates for accuracy.
• Inspect dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain daily production logs and process documentation.
• Work collaboratively with team to improve process efficiency and quality.
