Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Grinder in Orange, CA to set up, operate, and monitor centerless grinding equipment for aerospace fasteners, reading blueprints, and ensuring high-precision quality.

This on-site permanent role offers first or second shifts, competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for overtime. The candidate should be detail-oriented, skilled with measuring tools, and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating and setting up centerless grinding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges.
• Knowledge of SPC and quality control processes.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Follow SPC procedures and maintain accurate production records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with quality, production, and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Job Details

The Centerless Grinder is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring centerless grinding equipment to produce high-quality precision components. This role requires strong attention to detail, blueprint reading skills, and experience using precision measuring equipment to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.

Hours: 1st shift and 2nd shift available

1st Shift (4AM-230PM)

2nd Shift (230PM-1AM)

will work 2 Saturdays per month

Days: Monday-Friday
