Cambridge Specialty Company seeks a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will program CNC turning machines, develop processes for aerospace parts, and generate NC programs with setup sheets and documentation.

The role requires hands-on CNC programming experience, knowledge of aerospace machining standards, and the ability to collaborate with operators during initial runs. SolidWorks/CAMWorks experience is a plus.

• Hands-on experience programming CNC turning machines.
• Strong understanding of aerospace machining standards and best practices.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train across the business.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks/CAMWorks is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Program CNC turning machines.
• Develop machining processes for simple aerospace parts; collaborate with the team on more complex components.
• Generate solid models, NC programs, setup sheets, and operation documentation for each machining operation.
• Design machining fixtures and provide clear operation sheets for the tooling department if needed.
• Work closely with CNC operators and setup personnel during product development and initial runs.
• Select appropriate cutting tools from our existing tool library, while remaining open to innovative tooling solutions.
• Utilize SolidWorks for model design, integrated with CAMWorks for NC programming.
