Job summary

Janicki Industries, Inc. is seeking a Designer to join our aerospace-focused team. The role focuses on creating 3D CAD models and drawings that meet stringent aerospace standards, while collaborating with engineering and production teams across the full design to manufacturing lifecycle.

The position requires strong CAD skills (CATIA/NX preferred), PLM familiarity, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent resident status required.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance (must be able to pass).
• Strong CAD/3D modeling proficiency and attention to detail.
• Proficient English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD models compliant with aerospace standards and project specs.
• Support manufacturing processes: tooling, fixtures, and design changes.
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate cross‑functional feedback.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Customer Teams.
• Maintain detailed technical docs, BOMs, and revision history.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work under deadlines.
