Job summary

CTS Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking Technical Designers to support on-site in Renton, Auburn, Puyallup, Everett WA and Portland, OR.

You will apply drafting principles to draft parts and assemblies, translate engineering concepts into geometry, and support the full life cycle from design to production. Qualified candidates have 9+ years in aerospace, CATIA V4/V5, IVT, and PDM experience, with strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree and 9+ years of aerospace drafting experience.
• Proficiency with CATIA V4/V5 for detail and assembly parts.
• Experience with Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT) and Product Data Management (PDM).
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site at Renton, WA; create drafted parts and product structures for fabrication flow.
• Translate engineer concepts into physical part geometry and assembly definitions.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve materials/process challenges.
