Job summary

Janicki Industries in Layton, Utah, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The role focuses on leading manufacturing plans, schedules, and quality programs for complex carbon fiber and aluminum structures.

You will review customer orders, develop inspection plans, ensure compliance with AS9100/Nadcap, and coordinate with Program Management, Operations, QA and HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CATIA and NX or equivalent CAD software.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP software preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing plans, schedules and quality plans.
• Review customer purchase orders, contracts and change requests.
• Create Inspection Plans in coordination with Project Planning.
• Verify compliance to codes, standards and customer contracts.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Lead a team of engineers to execute complex objectives.
