Job summary

Janicki Industries, an innovative aerospace company, seeks a Designer to join the on-site team in Hamilton, Washington State. Designers develop CAD models and drawings, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with aerospace standards.

You will participate in design reviews, collaborate across engineering, production and customer teams, and maintain detailed documentation and configuration control. ITAR restrictions apply, and US citizenship or legal permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; industry experience acceptable
• Strong written, verbal and graphical communication in English
• Proficiency with 3D CAD systems (CATIA/NX) and CAD workflow within PLM

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed CAD models compliant with aerospace standards
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure producible design packages
• Lead or participate in design reviews with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and revision histories
• Support tooling, fixtures, and design changes as needed
• Ensure aerospace configuration control and traceability
