Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Cable and Harness Technician – Level 3 for on-site work. Responsibilities include setting up and testing flight cable assemblies, interpreting schematics, and conducting environmental tests with analysis to improve procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma and experience with engineering drawings, with no security clearance required. Preferred candidates have experience with various connectors (D-Sub, Micro-D, Circular), and basic

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
No clearance required to start.
Must have experience working with Engineering drawings and written work instructions.
Knowledge of DC harness wiring using various connectors including D-Sub, Micro-D and Circular connectors.

Responsibilities

Set-up, Assemble and Tests complete flight cable assembly and sub-assemblies under operational conditions.
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks
Analyzes data and recommends modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications.
