Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cable and Harness Technician – Level 1 for our Space Sector in Redondo Beach, CA. This 100% onsite role supports mechanical and electrical engineers in developing harness assemblies and components, using detailed drawings for fabrication and test fixtures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, familiarity with engineering drawings, and knowledge of RF cable connectors. Weekend work may be required; no start clearance is needed at hire.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• No clearance required to start.
• Familiar with Engineering drawings and written work instructions.
• Knowledge of RF cable connectors and related components.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assemble and test flight cable assemblies and sub-assemblies under operational conditions.
• Work from schematics, diagrams and layouts to perform testing, checkout and basic development tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
