Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cable & Harness Technician (Level 2 or 3) in Goleta, CA, on a 2nd shift. The role focuses on electrical harnessing, assembly, and test for government and commercial programs, with emphasis on data traceability and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED plus 2–4 years related experience depending level.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and schematics.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and maintain paperwork and electronic data for hardware assemblies.
• Build compliant electrical harnesses from schematics and perform tests (continuity, insulation resistance).
• Route wiring harnesses on flight hardware.
• Follow procedures and work from drawings, collaborating with engineers to develop new processes.
• Solder, wire strip, crimp, and route harnesses; apply coatings and adhesives as needed.
• Handle force, torque, and precision hand tools with care.
• Determine optimal assembly order for complex harnesses and structures.
