Job summary

Calspan JETS in Saint Paul, MN, seeks a Controls & Instrumentation Designer to produce electrical, schematic, pneumatic, fabrication, and assembly drawing packages for test cells, wind tunnels, and aerospace ground facilities. This on-site role partners with engineers to design integrated systems and balance multiple projects.

This position requires a Bachelor's in electrical technology or related field, 3+ years experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical technology or related discipline.
• 3+ years of related experience or an equivalent education/experience mix.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical, controls and facility systems with CAD drawings and BOMs.
• Research and specify hardware based on design requirements.
• Release drawings and BOM changes to downstream departments and customers.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and installation teams during assembly and testing.
• Perform design duties on schedule, within budget, and to standards.
