The Buyer reviews MRP, selects suppliers, places POs, and maintains records, with potential weekend rotations. Pay ranges from $82,000 to $98,000 USD with bonus eligibility and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required.
• 2–5 years purchasing experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with concepts of B.O.O. and B.O.M., min/max inventory levels and safety stock.
• Ability to identify a fair market value for products.

Aufgaben

• Review MRP daily to identify sourcing needs.
• Select suppliers and assign pricing for each job.
• Compile purchasing packets and create/Place POs.
• Follow up with suppliers on status and delivery dates.
• Maintain accurate PO dates and purchasing records.
• Ensure compliance with part specifications, quality requirements and SOX.
