Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) in Mentor, Ohio, seeks a Buyer to manage the full purchasing lifecycle for maintenance, repair and overhaul needs. You will source suppliers, issue RFQs, create POs, monitor orders, and resolve any issues affecting operations.

The role supports production schedules and customer needs, maintains records, and ensures compliance throughout the procurement process. Prior ERP and MS Office experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of purchasing or supply chain experience.
• Ability to read technical documentation and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical docs and procurement needs to source correctly.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate supplier proposals, and select based on cost/lead time/quality.
• Create and manage POs with clear requirements.
• Monitor PO status and provide delivery updates and risks.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure performance expectations.
• Support inventory activities and coordinate with Inventory Control.
• Maintain accurate part master data including pricing and lead times.
• Verify receipts and ensure regulatory/compliance documentation for AP.
