Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical and avionics product manufacturing, assembly, test and inspection.
• Ability to read drawings, interpret specifications and provide technical input to procedures.
• Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
• Intermediate knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create quality plans for flight hardware with design and manufacturing teams, identifying key characteristics and planning inspections.
• Develop, implement and validate Lean test and inspection processes for new and existing products.
• Monitor product and process performance during ramp-up using quality tools and analyses.
• Conduct regular build quality reviews to ensure design intent and drive improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Investigate production/test/flight failures to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Support shop floor with continuous improvement and Lean production initiatives.
