Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Bench Mechanic for a weekend shift (Friday-Sunday, 3x12). You will perform pre-coating surface prep, masking, and post-coating tasks, while supporting engineers and refining operating parameters. Flexibility for overtime is required to maintain workflow.

The role offers hands-on training in aerospace manufacturing within a state-of-the-art facility, with opportunities for skill development, advancement, and exposure to advanced coating equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+years related experience.
• High School or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-coating operations including surface preparation and masking.
• Perform post coating tasks such as removing parts from fixtures and masking.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning coating equipment and perform minor repairs.
