RTX in Springdale, AR is seeking a Blender/Bench Mechanic for their 1st shift in the Aftermarket Repair organization. The role involves blending, deburring, and assembling aerospace case parts, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality per instructions.

You will operate sanding and grinding tools, perform cleaning and preparation for welds or machining, and document all activities. Candidate must have a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with some related experience.
• Read blueprints, drawings and manuals to determine work requirements.
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsabilités

• Blend, smooth, and deburr surfaces on aerospace parts.
• Assemble, disassemble, blast, braze and clean parts per instructions.
• Set up and operate abrasive tools to meet specs.
• Inspect parts for conformance and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform basic maintenance.
