Job summary

Applus+ Arcadia Aerospace Industries (AAI) seeks an experienced AWS Certified Welder to join the aerospace NDT team in Florida. You will perform high-quality welding and fabrication in line with AWS standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, inspecting welds, and maintaining safety and quality throughout production. Benefit from in-house training and opportunities across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current AWS welding certification required.
• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment preferred.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and TIG is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Mechatronics experience or machining skills are a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication operations in accordance with AWS standards and company procedures
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Operate welding, fabrication, and related shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Support production, repair, and custom fabrication projects as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety and quality requirements
• Collaborate with production, quality, and inspection teams to meet customer and project deadlines
• Perform additional duties as assigned
