Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Welder to join our aerospace manufacturing team in the United States. The ideal candidate will perform MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, and oxy-acetylene welding to exacting standards.

You will read blueprints, fabricate and assemble metal structures, and inspect welds for quality while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. AWS certification is a plus, and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, GMAW and oxy-acetylene welding.
• Able to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiar with safety standards and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and sketches to understand weld specs.
• Perform MIG/TIG/SMAW/FCAW/GTAW/GMAW and oxy-acetylene welding as required.
• Use hand and power tools to prep and finish welds.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures per specifications.
• Inspect welded surfaces for defects and ensure conformance to drawings.
• Follow HSE policies and keep equipment safe and maintained.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain workflow.
