Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Holt, Michigan, seeks an experienced engineer to execute, implement and validate centralized control technologies for hardware and software. You will help develop standard practices and continuously improve control specifications in alignment with RTX automation goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field along with several years of manufacturing automation experience. Domestic travel up to 50% may be required and RTX benefits apply.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required due to program requirements.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• 5+ years in automated systems within manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate control hardware and network standards.
• Design OT network architecture and software integration.
• Create engineering procedures and documentation.
• Program PLCs, Ignition scripting, and visualization.
