You will manage materials at your workstation, handle hand and electrical tools, and uphold safety standards while maintaining a tidy, safe work area. HS diploma or GED and 2+ years in related work required, with opportunities for growth in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, bills of materials, and/or written assembly instructions.
Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions
Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment efficiently to perform assembly tasks.
Maintain inventory of product in assigned workstations, ensuring materials are readily available for ongoing operations.
Perform quality work checks, identify product defects, and accurately record identified defects for corrective action.
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products based on engineering specification changes to meet quality standards.
Adhere to all quality standards and established safety procedures, ensuring compliance and a high standard of work.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, promoting efficiency and safety.
Lift up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation, ensuring safe material handling.
