Job summary

RTX’s Collins Aerospace unit is seeking an onsite technician to plan, set up, assemble, test, and repair environmental control systems. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, process improvements, and adherence to EH&S guidelines within a manufacturing setting.

The position requires 1–2 years of related experience and US citizenship. Candidates should be familiar with blueprint/schematic drawings; SAP or Solumina experience is a plus. First shift hours apply.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Knowledge of blueprint and schematic drawings

Responsibilities

• Plan, set-up, layout and perform assembly, disassembly, balance, test, modification and repair of product.
• Troubleshoot to determine causes of malfunctions.
• Plan, set-up and perform quality control tests such as hardness tests, calibrations, and inspections.
• Recommend and implement process and workflow improvements to meet customer requirements.
• Plan sequence of operations and prepare or modify work instructions.
• Schedule and prioritize production, development, and maintenance work.
• Select and modify simple tooling and equipment for new requirements.
• Perform preliminary review and determine material disposition, implement corrective actions.
• Collect, analyze and interpret data to recommend improvements.
• Instruct coworkers in proper duties and improve processes with teams.
• Perform periodic maintenance and minor repairs of equipment.
• Participate in process/audit activities and keep areas organized.
• Move products/materials per control procedures and maintain documentation.
• First Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
