Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an Assembler to support aerospace manufacturing. You will follow detailed assembly instructions, log defects, and assemble, disassemble, and repair electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, using various hand tools and machines.

The role requires US citizenship, a high school diploma or vocational training, and experience with manufacturing databases such as VM, CMES or SAP.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education
• Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing databases and tools
• Excellent hand/finger dexterity and extreme attention to detail
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed Assembly Instructions, write descriptive notes for defects or process info, and log information identifying the serialized parts used
• Assemble, disassemble, re-assemble, fabrication, repair and/or inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Set up and operate a variety of machine(s) and hand tools/instruments
• Route, dispatch and expedite flow of material
• Check for work correctness
• Material preparation, assembly, and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies
