Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm–Midnight) at our MRO Commercial Engine Center. This role involves functional checks on engine assemblies, dimensional/visual inspections, and following engineering drawings.

Training provided; forklift and PIV certifications may be required. Labor Grade 5 with shift differential; benefits include medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• A&P License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Perform Dimensional and Visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques.
• Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
• Accepting or referring material for rework or quality review based on findings.
• Use measuring instruments including fixed and variable measuring instruments and automated measuring machines.
• Record results and complete appropriate paperwork.
