Job summary

Pratt & Whitney West Palm Beach is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for our MRO Commercial Engine Center to perform dimensional and visual inspections on engine assemblies and components using standard measurement tools and procedures.

This 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3:30pm–Midnight) includes a shift differential. The role is safety sensitive and FAA regulated; onsite work is required at the West Palm Beach site, with access to comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• Experience reading and applying complicated drawings, specs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Use power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assemblies.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections following established methods.
• Verify accuracy with surface plates and standard measuring techniques.
• Accept or reject material based on inspection findings.
• Work from written procedures and engineering drawings to plan inspections.
• Record results and complete necessary paperwork for nonconformances.
