Job summary

RTX is seeking an inspector for the West Palm Beach area to support the overhaul of PW1100G-JM engines. You will perform receiving inspections, dimensional checks, and documentation to ensure engine components meet strict standards.

The role requires power-plant mechanics training or automotive experience, plus FAA-related knowledge; experience with SAP/SOLUMINA is a plus. This is a second-shift onsite position with a 10% shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• 1+ years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing or 1+ years of automotive training or experience.
• A&P license and additional certifications are preferred.
• 4+ years in a similar function and prior MRO/FAR 145 repair station experience are preferred.
• Familiarity with FAA aviation standards and jet engine components is advantageous.
• SAP and Solumina experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspections and initial inventory of turbine engines and components.
• Monitor and document inspection, assembly, and testing of engines to ensure requirements are met.
• Review customer requirements and applicable service bulletins and directives.
• Dispositions non-conforming material and communicates variances to senior staff.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and proper operation of equipment.
