Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business unit, seeks an experienced aerospace mechanic in Middletown, CT. You will perform assembly/disassembly of gas turbine engines and related components, following detailed instructions and using precision tools.

Responsibilities include verifying dimensions, performing static balance, inspecting parts and records, and coordinating with team to support overhaul and repair tasks. A&P or equivalent training with relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with A&P license or equivalent training.
• Technical post-secondary certification plus 5+ years heavy automotive experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed work instructions to assemble/disassemble gas turbine engines and accessories.
• Use precision instruments to verify dimensions and perform static balance on rotating parts.
• Inspect parts and records, enter data, and coordinate with technicians to meet production goals.
