Job summary

Pratt & Whitney seeks an experienced aerospace mechanic to assemble parts and build engine subassemblies for new gas turbine engines. You will follow detailed drawings, procure parts, and measure components to ensure precise fit and alignment.

Role includes supporting test operations and retrofitting for new engine programs. Ideal candidates hold an A&P license or equivalent or have 5+ years of heavy automotive experience with technical certification, and are prepared for on-site work in

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent and formal training in a specialized field achieving A&P license or equivalent.
4 years of technical high school including technical post high school certification and 5+ years of heavy automotive experience.

Responsibilities

Follow assembly drawings and specifications to prepare parts and build subassemblies for new gas turbine engines.
Assist with engine test operations and perform component and accessory tests.
Overhaul engines, modules and related components per procedures and specifications.
Obtain parts, check conformance, fit and measure components to ensure dimensions.
Use hand tools and fixtures to assemble engine sections and install details.
Support test operations and assist with testing under supervision.
