Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team in Kinston, NC. You will perform a variety of production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical subassemblies, reading blueprints and using hand tools and fixtures.

The role supports quality checks and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Must be able to work any shift; Workkeys or a High School Diploma/GED is required.

Qualifications

• Reads diagrams and drawings to assemble components.
• Uses hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Performs continuity checks and basic quality inspections.
• Willing to work across multiple shifts and environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Work from diagrams and drawings; set up layouts; use tools and fixtures as required.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to specifications.
• May disassemble, modify, rework, and test prototype assemblies as needed.
• Train and assist other employees to sustain production flow.
• Move parts and materials; document discrepancies and progress.
