Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. in Kinston, NC is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our production team. You will perform a range of manual and automated assembly tasks for electronic and mechanical subassemblies, following diagrams and specifications.

The role involves quality checks and potential rework, with training provided to meet MVP qualification. Working in a state-of-the-art facility focused on large composite aerostructures, you will participate in precision assembly for

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; ability to obtain work authorization in the U.S.
Able to read diagrams and drawings to assemble parts to specifications.
Willing and able to work any shift as required.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical subassemblies according to specifications.
Utilize hand and power tools, jigs, and measuring devices to complete assemblies.
Conduct continuity checks and participate in quality inspections on the line.
Disassemble/modify/rework/test assemblies per specifications and conditions.
Document discrepancies and participate in process improvements.
